A family of faith for more than 60 years, St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School in Greenville, SC, prepares students K3-6 grade for leadership and service in a changing world. Our mission is to provide exceptional academic instruction and support faith development of all students, regardless of religious affiliation and tradition. Each student is a child of God, graced with special gifts and talents. We seek to inspire students to achieve their full potential in spiritual, academic and physical fitness development.
St. Anthony’s is focused on nurturing academic excellence within a core curriculum of religion, language arts, math, science and social studies. We support artistic development, communication and collaboration, and critical thinking. Our students also enjoy art, music, computers, Spanish and physical education.
To compliment the academic curriculum, a variety of after school activities are offered, including programs devoted to chess, computers, gardening, robotics, running, scouting, Spanish and tutoring. Our students also learn to care for and respect themselves, others and all of God’s creation as they take part in a variety of ministries and community service projects.
Part of the Diocese of Charleston, which comprises the entire state of South Carolina with Charleston as the See city, St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School follows the curricula of the Diocese of Charleston Catholic Schools Office. St. Anthony’s is accredited through the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS CASI), an accreditation division of AdvancED.
Under the leadership of the Franciscan Friars of Holy Name Province, St. Anthony School employs the best possible academic and religious teachers and instructors. The private coeducational school is also an integral part of St. Anthony of Padua parish located in historic West Greenville, SC.
